Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation

Oral sessions will be held during Dec. 14-15. Each session is composed of up to 5 papers. Each author will have 8-minute presentations followed by a 4-minute Q&A. Unless differently specified, the oral sessions will be held in the Plenary room (ground floor). The presenters will have the possibility to share the presentation in the Plenary Room, uploading their presentation on the common pc. Please make sure to upload all media files required for your presentation. Any necessary video or audio files should be embedded in your PowerPoint file. The plenary room will have a zoom link, and the session chairs will moderate the discussion including both in-person and online attendees.

Virtual presentation

The presenters attending virtually the conference will present their works via zoom videocall, sharing their screens. To avoid any delays in the presentation, we kindly suggest the virtual presenters check the connection stability in advance.

Poster Presentation

In-person presentation

Poster sessions will be held during the Interactive Sessions on the days of the Conference. The poster sessions will take place in the common area (ground floor). All posters will be paper posters brought by attendees. We’ll prepare push pins for pinning up your poster. There are no tables, power supplies, or displays. But you may bring in your PC for showing video clips. The maximum dimension of the poster panel is 75cm wide x 100cm high. There is no specific template for the posters. You should choose the format that best represents your research work that suits the given dimension (75×100).

Please, set up your poster according to the time slot reported below and take down your poster at the end of the interactive session:

  • Morning Interactive Poster session: the posters of the morning session should be set up from 8.15 to 8.45 and removed from the authors after the session; 
  • Afternoon Interactive Poster session: the posters of the afternoon session should be set up during lunch break and removed from the authors after the session.

Virtual presentation

In case the authors of the poster cannot attend in person, they are requested to send a video of 1 minute, briefly explaining the aim of the work and the obtained results. The video will be shown in the Plenary room at the end of the oral session belonging to the same topic. We kindly ask the authors to send the video before the 7th of December 2022 to icsr2022.info@gmail.com.Additionally, the author will participate in the Q&A on-line, during the interactive session to which the poster belongs to. The zoom link will be shared with you a few days before the Conference.
